Like others with chronic migraines or headaches, I have been on a laundry list of preventative meds in the past. I've also been treated for depression for about three years. This list represents my current daily medication intake:

  • Cymbalta - 30 mg (am); 60 mg (pm)
  • Toprol - 100 mg (pm)
  • Nortriptyline - 50 mg (pm)
  • Zanaflex - 4 mg (pm)
  • vitamin B complex with C - 2 tablets (pm)
For acute treatment of migraine attacks, I use Imitrex injections, Migranal (DHE nasal spray), Zanaflex, Phenergan, or Lortab.
