In response to Teri Robert's post on the About Headaches and Migraine site, here are my responses to The Nourishing Meme. If you are so inclined, post your answers on your blog or as a comment to this post. I'm always interested in hearing about how other people living with chronic illness soothe their souls.

1. What is the most nourishing thing you frequently do for yourself?

I take time every single day (sometimes a little, sometimes a lot) to read. I've always loved to read, and I feel that time spent with a good book feeds my soul. 2. For your health, what will you never compromise on?

I loved Teri's answer to this question, and I have to agree: my treatment providers. I only want to be treated by the best medical doctors and alternative practitioners. To me, this means people who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and very good at what they do.

3. Where do you get most of your health information?

All over the place. I read as much as I can on various online sources (news outlets, blogs, and medical sites) and learn everything I can from my treatment providers.

4. What single whole food or supplement has turned your health around the most?

Water. I feel so much better when I drink plenty of water, and I often notice that I'm more sensitive to my surroundings and likely to get a migraine when I'm dehydrated.

5. What is your favorite natural therapy?

Yoga.
