I'm revisiting my goals to hold myself accountable and discuss the adjustments I've made to them. Overall, I'm pleased with the things I've been able to commit to and accomplish.

Read 50 books.
This is going great. I've read 10 books so far.

Watch 100 movies.

This is also going great. I've watched 31 movies already.

Recommit to paper journaling and stick with it all year.

I'm still only doing a couple of entries a week. I still need to work on this one.

Cook dinner at least once a week.

This is the first week I've not cooked at least one meal, so I feel as though I'm doing great.

Make 5 eco-friendly changes in my habits/behaviors.

This is going really well. I've made a lot of progress in just one month. (1) Purchase, put up, and use outdoor clothesline and use indoor drying rack (instead of electric dryer) (done). (2) Purchase and use four additional CFLs (2/4 in use). (3) Purchase reusable, ceramic hand sap dispensers and fill with Dr. Bronners soap (done). (4) Switch to menstrual cup and reusable cloth pads (done).

Stick with therapy.

This is going okay. I missed another appointment, and I'm having some trouble keeping my commitment.

Keep up with my recycling.

Since we don't have curbside recycling here, I desperately need to make a run to the recycling center. Our garage has way too much sitting around right now.

Use my reusable shopping bags - use no more than 12 single-use bags all year.

I updated this goal to a more reasonable one. I'm allowing myself 24 bags in 2007. I can aim for a lower number in coming years.

Take a yoga class.

I still need to plan for this, but I have plenty of time.

Take a class at the local co-op.

I still need to select one and sign up. It would be nice to do more than one this year if I leave myself enough time.

Participate in and win NaNoWriMo.

I scratched this one because I realized I enjoy writing non-fiction much more than fiction. No reason to force myself to do something I don't love.
