This morning I had an appointment with my primary care physician Dr. M. I explained that I've been having two to three times as many migraines since my last appointment as I'd been having for the past few months. I said my depression is doing better, but that it is a work in progress, and that my sleep has been cruddy.
Dr. M. suggested we increase my anti-depressant (Celexa), and I agreed that sounded like a good idea. Depression and migraines are completely interconnected for me. Anything I can do to help one will undoubtedly have at least some positive effect on the other.
We're both hoping the transition into fall and cooler weather will naturally help with the frequency of my migraines. If that doesn't happen, we'll explore our options at my next visit.
When I stopped to fill my prescriptions after work I got a product by Hyland's, a homeopathic remedy manufacturer, called Calms Forte. I've read good things about it. I hope it will be a good option for me and my sleep issues. Has anyone used it? What did you think?
