The Real Hot 100 is calling for nominations for its 2007 line-up of fabulous women making substantive contributions to the world around them. Instead of treating beauty as the measure of hotness, the Real Hot 100 focuses on what really matters about women: our minds, our spirits and our committment to bring about change.

Do you know a smart, savvy young woman who represents the intelligence, drive and diversity of young women today? Is she breaking barriers, speaking her mind and making the world a better place? Look around – she may be your best friend, your wife, your partner, your colleague, your sister – she may even be you. Nominate her today!

The annual Real Hot 100 list shows that young women are “hot” for reasons beyond looking good in a magazine. By featuring this list of young women from around the country doing incredible things in their every day lives, we’re battling the popular notion that all young women have to offer is outward appearances. The annual list is just a first step. Through the Real Hot 100 network, nominees and winners can combine their resources, share strategies and join forces to further their social causes and to affect real change.

Last year Chronic Babe's Jenni Prokopy was recognized for her work in providing an internet home for young women with chronic illnesses and included as one of the 100. I know there are many other advocates and writers out there who make our chronic days and nights more tolerable. Consider nominating one of those women so she can be recognized for her contributions.
