The recently revamped Mind Over Migraine website is offering up a wonderfully informative new podcast, National Spotlight on Migraines.
Nationally-recognized migraine specialists, including Suzanne Simons, executive director of the National Headache Foundation, Dr. Richard Lipton, director of the headache center at New York’s Montefiore Medical Center, and Lisa Wrubleski, an informed migraine patient, all contribute to the podcast.
I have listened to two episodes so far, and I was extremely impressed with the quality of the information and engaging nature of the episodes. Though I am ordinarily hesitant about content sponsored or created by drug companies, the information in this podcast is highly credible and seemed quite unbiased to me.
The Mind Over Migraine website has other cool features, such as patient video podcasts of what it is like to experience a migraine, a downloadable daily action plan (to help families stay organized) and a downloadable headache diary.
