I found a physical therapy order indicating that I have myofascial pain in my shoulder and cervical radiculitis. I wish they had taken the time to explain to me that I had these issues and what they are. Perhaps I could have gotten some pain relief before now if I had known. And realizing that there are terms for what my body experiences make me feel less like this pain is something I'll have to live with indefinitely with no hope of relief.
I'm glad I discovered this information before my first physical therapy appointment and before my visit to Dr. Krusz's clinic. I hope having a clearer picture of the extent of my neck-related issues will help me get the relief I'm seeking.
I'm not sure the physical therapy is helping me at all, but the exercises they gave me this time have been more useful than those I received last time I did PT. I'm going to keep going through next week and then re-evaluate whether I want to continue.
