On the bright side, I've not had much trouble with migraines since Wednesday. On the not so bright side, I've been so doped up on NyQuil and VapoRub that I'd be hard pressed to actually notice if I had a migraine. I really do think I've been better, though. Cause if NyQuil helps me cope with a migraine, why haven't I been using it?
The other nice thing is that I've had a chance to catch up on my movie watching before tonight's Academy Awards. I've seen American Gangster, Gone Baby Gone, Michael Clayton and Away from Her in the past few days. I'd already seen Juno, The Savages, Enchanted, Sicko and Ratatouille, so I'm now in better shape to watch tonight's ceremony and have a clue who and what deserves to win. But let's be real: at least half the reason I love awards shows is for the fashion. And I don't need to have seen a single nominated film to enjoy that.
