While nearly 21 million Americans have diabetes, as many as one-third of that 21 million are undiagnosed. As you've all heard me lament during the past few months, being diagnosed with diabetes is a huge adjustment and fraught with negative emotions. However, it is imperative that you be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible if you want to continue to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
