lingering nausea: depression or migraine related?

Although I continue to heal from this especially severe bought of depression, I'm still dealing with an almost constant low level nausea.

As I'm sure you can understand, my initial thought was that it was migraine related. I'm pretty textbook in that whole nausea/vomiting with migraines department.

But this is different. When I have a migraine, food is the furthest thing from my mind. Although I had a low level migraine yesterday, I felt hungry for dinner. Unfortunately, I also felt completely grossed out by food.

My wonderful hubby grilled a pile of chicken and burgers on Sunday evening, leaving us lots of yummy leftovers for the week. I shredded one of the grilled chicken breasts and made a Chipotle-style burrito (minus the rice) by piling the chicken, a scoop of black bean chili, shredded cheese and salsa in a flour tortilla. Sounds yummy right?

I thought so, too, until I started eating it. I ate a few bites, then started feeling like I was going to be sick. This feeling is eerily reminiscent of how I felt when I was taking Topamax. It's really that bad.

The only thing I can assume is that this is a lingering side effect of the severe bout of depression. Hopefully it will pass as I continue to recover.
