Grade school aged children who have migraines have fewer friends than other kids their age. However, there is no difference in rates of friendship among older children with migraines as compared with other children.

Friendships and Social Interactions of School-Aged Children with Migraine

Researchers said there may be reason to worry about the social functioning of younger children with migraine disease, but older kids with migraines function at as high a level their peers.
