The New York Times published an interesting column on Monday written by a physician with a pain management practice about the challenges of treating patients with chronic pain. It's a must read for all of us on the chronic pain journey.

Coming to Know the Limits of Healing

I find it rather heartening to know he understands how devastating it can be to hear you may be in excruciating pain for the rest of your life and also that the current options for treating chronic pain are completely inadequate for most patients.
