For the month of April I'm participating in WEGO Health's Health Activist Writer’s Month Challenge Prompts. If you'd like more information or want to participate, too, please visit: Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge.

Today's WEGO Health Activist Writing Month Prompt is: Post Secret: "Write down a secret that isn't really a secret. A misconception about your condition, something people would think you'd be too shy to disclose (but you will) or just something you want to shout from the rooftops."

I've said it a zillion times, so let's make it a zillion and one times: Migraine is more than just a headache. Yes, head pain is a big part of what migraineurs deal with, and it's often horrible and unrelenting. But there are many other nasty symptoms that accompany the pain. Nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, fatigue, irritability, dizziness, vertigo, hot flashes, neck pain and so on.

Let's all try to spread to word and increase general understand of what migraine really looks like.
