For the month of April I'm participating in WEGO Health's Health Activist Writer’s Month Challenge Prompts. If you'd like more information or want to participate, too, please visit: Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge.

Today's WEGO Health Activist Writing Month Prompt is “I write about my health because…” There are a few reasons why I write about my health. I initially started blogging about migraines because I needed support and because I was doing a great deal of research and wanted to be able to share what I found with other people. As my blog grew I came to realize there was a lot I could share about how I cope with my chronic pain conditions. It's been very gratifying to get to know other migraineurs and help them when I can.
