For each month from May through October the campaign has a specific focus and suggestions of things to do to help you concentrate on that month's topic. For instance, May is the Feeding Kindness Challenge. For the May theme the DSMA suggests things like starting a community garden, sharing a favorite recipe with a friend or donating to a local food pantry. Some of the ideas are big, while others are small and easy. It's entirely up to you how to want to address the challenge of making a positive change each month.
I'm challenging myself to do something every month during the campaign to focus on that month's challenge theme, and I'm hoping you'll do the same. The first challenge starts on May 1. I'll be posting about my actions each month and invite you to share yours in the comments of each blog post.
