I wanted to let you guys know why there hasn't been a weekly Migraine Chat on Wednesdays for the past six weeks or so. As all of you with chronic migraine know full well, it's easy to overextend yourself and often hard to meet all the goals we have for our time. Migraine Chat has fallen prey to this in my life.

It has become clear to me that I can't possibly keep up with a weekly commitment to host a chat, so I'm once again rethinking the format and frequency. I'd love to be able to host it weekly, but since that's not realistic for me right now, I'm going to host it on a more infrequent basis, but with plenty of advertising and notice via Somebody Heal Me, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and email to allow you guys to get it on your calendars and join me as you're able to do so.

I'm also going to try changing it up and host some afternoon sessions in addition to the traditional evening sessions to allow myself more flexibility. A big part of the challenge is that the evening is a time when I'm often busy figuring out dinner and spending time with my husband. As much as I adore you guys, and I truly do, I can't give up with quality time with my man!

To get us back on track, our next upcoming Migraine Chats will be in honor of Migraine Awareness Month:
  • Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3 pm CDT: Migraine Awareness Month Chat: What do you wish people better understood about living with migraine disease?
  • Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 6 pm CDT: Migraine Awareness Month Chat Pt 2: What do you need in order to live well with migraine disease that you currently don't have in your life. Tangible or intangible. It's all fair game!

For more information about how to participate, please visit: Migraine Chat. And "like" the new Migraine Chat Facebook page: Migraine Chat on FB.

If you have suggestions for topics / themes for future chats, please share your ideas in the comments.
