I'm excited to tell you guys about an upcoming special event, a Migraine Awareness Month Twitter Chat for people with migraine disease, featuring one of the most brilliant migraine specialists in the country.

I'll be helping to moderate the Twitter Chat co-sponsored by Montefiore Headache Center and the Migraine Research Foundation, featuring Montefiore's Dr. Richard B. Lipton, on Thursday, June 28 at 2 pm Eastern (check your time zone). Please mark your calendar, set an alarm on your smart phone and join us!

In addition to his role directing the Montefiore Headache Center, Dr. Lipton is Professor and Vice Chair of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a past president of the American Headache Society (AHS) and a member of the International Headache Society (IHS) Executive Committee. Both Dr. Lipton and Montefiore are internationally recognized for for their leadership in the diagnosis, classification and treatment of headache disorders.

The Migraine Research Foundation (MRF) is a nonprofit dedicated to raising money to fund innovative research to better understand migraine, improve available treatments and find a cure. MRF is the only nonprofit foundation of its kind in the United States.

If you have specific questions you'd like to have answered by Dr. Lipton or another moderator in the Twitter Chat, tweet them along with the hashtag #MigraineChat anytime between now and the chat on Thursday.
