I'm participating in the Migraine Awareness Month Blogging Challenge every day in June.

Today's prompt is: "The Game Changer." Tell us about a time your plans changed due either an unexpected Migraine or an unexpected Migraine-free experience.

Having an entire weekend free of migraines is rare for me. But when that happened recently, my awesome husband and I took complete advantage of it and soaked up every possible moment together just doing all the ordinary things we ordinarily miss out on due to my illness and disability.

We bought a new stove, went out to lunch, took our dog Maisy for a walk, made dinner together, caught our favorite shows and just hung out. It was awesome. It's amazing how precious those times are when you almost never get them because of the interruptions of migraine disease.

Can you think of any times recently when a migraine-free day or period allowed you to change things up? Tell me more about it in the comments.
