I couldn't possibly be more excited to let you guys know that today I'm leaving for Scottsdale, Arizona, for the American Headache Society's Headache Symposium. Although this meeting is generally attended by doctors and other allied health care providers, I'm joining fellow patient advocates and educators Teri Robert and Ellen Schnakenberg there to learn more about migraine and other headache disorders so I/we can pass that information along to all of you.

In addition to learning about a lot of new research, I'm also excited to meet many of the doctors I've read and heard so much about. We'll also have the chance to meet The Daily Headache's Kerrie and her husband and meet up with part of the Migraine.com team while we're there.

I must confess we've built in a couple of extra days for fun, too. Since my birthday, (35, gulp) is Wednesday, we're going early to enjoy the Camelback Inn and celebrate. I'm a lucky girl. Please pray my head cooperates with me!
