The prompt for day #29 of the Migraine & Headache Awareness Month Blog Challenge is: Misfits.

My body's failure to respond to even a single preventive therapy in the 10 years I've been living with Chronic Migraine make me feel like a total misfit. A freak.

It's great to have made connections with so many people in my same situation with Chronic Migraine and no response to so many tries at prevention. But that doesn't change the reality that we're an anomaly.

In late 2010 I wrote a blog post about this very issue. Please check it out to read more about feeling like a misfit in a way I never wanted to: This Isn't What I Had in Mind.
