Today's Migraine & Headache Awareness Month Blog Challenge prompt is: The Box: You are the experiment: What situation in your Migraine/Headache Disorders treatment has made you feel most like a guinea pig or lab rat?

There's really no one experience with Migraine treatments that has made me feel like a guinea pig more than any other. The whole body of experiences put together certainly do, though.

For the most part the treatments we've tried have all felt like stabs in the dark. Granted, many of them help a lot of people. But the more you try and fail treatments, the more you start to feel as though it's all a crap shoot.

If only we understood more about the Migraine brain and the Migraine process. We're learning more all the time, but I firmly believe that only with greater understanding will we be able to really help the most difficult to treat patients like me.

What situation in your Migraine or Headache Disorders treatment journey has made you feel most like a lab rat or guinea pig?
