In the 10 years I've been living with Chronic Migraine not a single preventive treatment or therapy has reduced the frequency or intensity of my Migraine attacks. I've tried the more traditional treatments, less traditional treatments and a few downright kooky treatments, all to no avail. But a lot of little lifestyle changes and habits can and have added up to help improve my quality of life.
Here are some of the habits that help me:
- Gentle movement.
- Whole, healthy food.
- Quality time with my husband, family and friends.
- Quality time with my furbabies.
- Hobbies, like reading, knitting & watching sports and movies.
- Helping others.
